The Nampally Court has ordered a 14-day remand for Tollywood actor Allu Arjun in connection with the Santya Theater stampede incident. However, Allu Arjun’s legal team has advised him to wait for the High Court’s verdict before taking any further steps.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed the matter, stating, “The law will take its course independently, without any intervention. My involvement is not required in Allu Arjun’s arrest. Everyone is equal before the law, and the same legal procedures that apply to others will apply to him as well. After the tragic stampede at the Pushpa 2 movie theater, the police are taking appropriate actions.”

Bandi Sanjay Calls Arrest ‘Humiliating’
Central Minister Bandi Sanjay strongly condemned the arrest, calling it “a humiliating act that took place without giving the actor any time.” Sanjay criticized the arrest, saying, “Arresting a National Award-winning actor who brought global recognition to Indian cinema is wrong. KTR Condemns Arrest, Asserts Actor’s Innocence
KTR, a senior leader of the ruling party, denounced the arrest, stating that it showcased the government’s insecurity. He is not directly accountable for the stampede.” KTR also pointed out the flawed logic behind the arrest, saying, “If this is the reasoning, then Revanth Reddy should also face arrest, as the Hydra incident resulted in the loss of two lives under his leadership.”
