A stampede occurred at the premiere of Pushpa 2 held at Sandhya Theatre, RTC Cross Roads, last night, following a massive turnout of fans to see Allu Arjun. The incident led to a tragic loss when Revathi and her son, Sriteja, fell to the ground amid the crowd surge. Despite quick CPR by police officers, Revathi succumbed to injuries after being rushed to a nearby private hospital. Sriteja is currently undergoing treatment at NIMS hospital.

The producers of Pushpa 2, Maitri Movie Makers, responded to the incident with a statement expressing their grief. They tweeted, “We are deeply saddened by the tragic event that occurred during last night’s premiere. Our heartfelt condolences go to the family, and our thoughts are with the child receiving treatment. We are committed to offering support and assistance during this difficult time.”
