In a continuation of action against individuals making inappropriate remarks about opposition leaders during the previous YSRCP government, a case has been filed against former minister Kodali Nani. The case stems from a complaint lodged by Andhra University law student Satyala Anjana Priya, who accused Kodali Nani of making derogatory comments about opposition leaders Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh on social media. The complaint, filed late Saturday night at the Visakhapatnam Three-Town Police Station, alleges that Kodali used offensive language in his statements and during Assembly sessions over the past five years.

The student expressed concern over the language used by Kodali Nani in public speeches, claiming that it led to personal attacks on the reputations of the opposition leaders. The complaint further highlighted that such comments were not only damaging to their personal dignity but also impacted their public image. The student, a law student, also expressed the distress caused by hearing such vulgar language and warned that allowing such behavior to continue could set a negative example for young people.

Kodali Nani’s remarks have drawn criticism, with accusations of body-shaming and inappropriate language. Authorities are expected to investigate the matter further, as the case continues to garner attention.
