Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has made sensational comments, predicting an “atomic bomb” of political revelations in the state. Speaking at an event in Vardhannapet, Warangal district, on Thursday, he claimed that significant disclosures were imminent, further intensifying political speculation. “Political bombs” were expected around Diwali, but now, he suggested that even larger, more impactful “atomic bombs” would soon explode.
The minister alluded to some individuals becoming defensive, stating, “If there’s no wrongdoing, why the panic?” He emphasized that the law would not spare those who had committed illegal acts and promised that a crucial INR 55 crore would soon be accounted for.
Concerns Over Misuse of Public Funds and Government Welfare Initiatives
During his visit, the minister laid the foundation for several development projects and reiterated the government’s commitment to both development and welfare. Despite Telangana’s growing debt, estimated at over INR 7 lakh crore, Ponguleti assured the public that welfare schemes continue uninterrupted, ensuring the “success” of Telangana’s welfare programs, including the ongoing implementation of the Indiramma model.
Ponguleti also accused certain individuals of diverting public funds for personal enrichment, particularly abroad, and warned that the law would not protect them. He urged the public to recognize these conspiracies, accusing those in power of undermining the welfare of the poor. His remarks included a stern warning that such individuals would ultimately be held accountable.
