Police received a tip-off about a suspected drug party at a farmhouse in Janwada Reserve Colony, reportedly linked to Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao’s brother-in-law. Upon conducting on-site drug tests, authorities found one attendee tested positive for cocaine, leading to a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The gathering included 21 women and 14 men, as per official reports. Following complaints of loud music, police intervened and uncovered the party. Foreign liquor was also seized on the premises and handed over to excise authorities, who registered a separate case under Section 34 of the Excise Act.
