In a critical announcement concerning the ongoing demolition of illegal structures in Hyderabad, HYDRA has confirmed its commitment to following the directives of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The organization reassured the public that there is no need for concern as long as legal permits are obtained for constructions.
HYDRA addressed circulating rumors that structures located near lakes would be targeted for demolition, clarifying that demolitions will not take place if valid permissions are in place. “We will not demolish buildings with proper approvals, as per the Chief Minister’s instructions,” a HYDRA spokesperson stated.
CM Revanth Reddy Criticizes Opposition
During a speech at the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra memorial event held near Charminar on Saturday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his displeasure towards questions raised about HYDRA’s actions in the city. He directed criticism towards BRS leaders, specifically targeting Harish Rao regarding potential ownership of a farmhouse in Aziz Nagar. Reddy noted that Harish Rao’s ministerial position was granted due to the Congress party in the past, further alleging a history of corruption within the KCR family.
The Chief Minister claimed that there are conspiracies aimed at damaging the state’s economic foundations, assuring real estate firms of his support against such threats. “HYDRA will not relent; illegal occupants should expect no leniency,” Reddy asserted. He also remarked that leaders like Harish Rao and KTR become anxious whenever HYDRA is mentioned, indicating their inability to tolerate any benefits afforded to the poor.
Highlighting the government’s initiatives, Reddy noted efforts to provide housing for the impoverished in the Musi region and financial assistance for women to help them start businesses.
