On the occasion of the Dussehra festival, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited his native village, Konda Reddypalli, where he laid the foundation for several development projects. This marked his first visit to the village in his capacity as Chief Minister. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by villagers with traditional drum beats, dances, and floral decorations.
During the visit, Revanth Reddy performed special prayers at the local Shiva temple. He inaugurated a model village panchayat building, which was constructed at a cost of Rs 72 lakhs, and planted a mango sapling in front of the facility. Additionally, he launched a modern library building built with Rs 55 lakhs and laid the foundation for an SC community building, which will feature modern amenities at a cost of Rs 18 lakhs.
The Chief Minister also laid the groundwork for the construction of a subterranean sewage pipeline, sewage treatment plant, and internal CC roads, funded by ₹18 crores. He inaugurated the construction of a modern transit lounge for ₹64 lakhs and the installation of street lighting along the main road.
Furthermore, he laid the foundation for a children’s park and gymnasium at a cost of Rs 32 lakhs, as well as a community building and compound wall, which will cost ₹70 lakhs. Accompanying Chief Minister Revanth were Nagar Kurnool MP Mallu Ravi, MLAs Chikkudu Vamsikrishna and Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, along with other public representatives.
