Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu has intensified efforts to manage the state’s flood crisis. After leading flood relief activities in Vijayawada, he conducted a review meeting to assess the damage caused by floods across the state. During the review, Chandrababu sought detailed reports from ministers and officials on the progress of the damage enumeration.
When officials failed to provide sufficient information, Chandrababu expressed strong disapproval, questioning their lack of urgency in addressing the flood victims’ needs. He emphasized that delays in completing the enumeration would hinder the state’s ability to provide timely compensation.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to finish the assessment by the next day, stressing the importance of submitting accurate data to the central government for further action.
