Amaravati: Minister Lokesh has launched a severe critique against former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of a deliberate scheme to benefit his sand mafia. Lokesh alleged that Jagan orchestrated the collapse of the Annamayya Dam, resulting in the deaths of 50 individuals and causing extensive damage to five villages. According to Lokesh, Jagan’s plan involved using iron boats to destroy the Prakasam Barrage, potentially impacting Vijayawada and several surrounding villages, leading to widespread devastation.
Lokesh further claimed that while Jagan devised the plan to destroy the Prakasam Barrage, its execution was carried out by YSRC MLC Talasila Raghuram and former MP Nandigam Suresh. He accused Jagan and his supporters of spreading misinformation and using the flood situation to divert attention from their alleged conspiracy.
