On the occasion of Rakhi, a festival celebrating sibling bonds, festive cheer was observed across households. BRS Working President and MLA K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) paid a heartfelt tribute to his sister Kavitha in a recent post on X. Despite Kavitha’s inability to participate in the Rakhi celebrations this year, KTR expressed his unwavering support, stating, “Today, you might not be able to tie Rakhi for me, but still… I will always be by your side through any hardship.”
The post has garnered a range of responses from netizens. In a past interview, Kavitha humorously commented on KTR’s frugality when asked about the monetary gesture associated with Rakhi. She remarked that her brother tends to be quite stingy.
Currently, Kavitha is remains in remand at Tihar Jail following her arrest in connection with the Delhi liquor scam.
