Kuppam YSRCP MLA candidate and MLC Bharat has encountered a significant setback as a case has been registered against him. TDP leader Chitti Babu filed a complaint with the Arandalpet police in Guntur, alleging that recommendation letters were sold under the guise of Tomala Seva in Tirumala.
According to the complaint, Rs 3 lakh was collected from Guntur residents for these letters. Acting on this complaint, the police have registered a case against MLC Bharat and his PRO Mallikarjuna. It is notable that Bharat had contested against CM Chandrababu Naidu in the assembly elections from Kuppam and lost.
