BRS MLC Kavitha has encountered another hurdle in the Delhi liquor scam case as the hearing on her default bail plea in the CBI case has been postponed. The delay occurred due to the unavailability of a senior advocate. Kavitha’s lawyer requested an adjournment, leading Judge Kaveri Bhaveja to reschedule the hearing for August 7.
This development has intensified tension within the BRS, raising concerns about the ongoing situation. Kavitha is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
Meanwhile, former Telangana ministers KT Rama Rao, Harish Rao, and Jagadishwar Reddy are visiting Delhi. It is reported that KTR and Harish Rao plan to meet Kavitha in Tihar Jail tomorrow.
