Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has issued critical instructions to accelerate the pending Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) process. During a video conference held from the Bhupalpally Collectorate on Saturday, Ponguleti directed district collectors to complete the LRS work within the next three months.
The Minister emphasized the need for strict adherence to regulatory rules in the regularisation of LRS applications and stressed the importance of safeguarding government lands. This directive comes in response to delays in the scheme, which has been pending for four years. It is noted that the previous government had accepted LRS applications from August 31 to October 31, 2020.
