Kadapa: In a surprising move, Kadapa MLA Madhavi Reddy has decided to forgo her security detail. Despite previously seeking protection due to threats from rival parties ahead of the assembly elections, Madhavi Reddy has now sent her gunmen back.
Madhavi Reddy, along with her husband Srinivasulu Reddy, had initially been allotted 2+2 gunmen for their protection. However, she recently expressed dissatisfaction with the police’s decision to reduce her husband’s security detail, sending back the gunmen provided to her as well.
Madhavi Reddy attended the assembly sessions without any security, alleging that the reduction from 2+2 to 1+1 gunmen was done without proper notification. She criticized the removal of security for her husband, Reddappagari Srinivasulu Reddy, and returned the security detail assigned to her.
