Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu has taken swift action following the boiler explosion at the Ultratech Cement factory in Bodawada, NTR district. He personally oversaw inquiries into the incident and directed officials to provide immediate support to the victims, ensuring they receive the best possible medical care. Chandrababu further instructed officials to conduct a thorough investigation into the cause of the explosion and to hold accountable those responsible for the tragic accident.
Additionally, the Chief Minister ordered that the affected families receive compensation from the company, with assurance of government assistance. The explosion resulted in injuries to 20 laborers from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar, who were promptly hospitalized. Sadly, one person, identified as Venkatesh, succumbed to his injuries, while five others remain in critical condition and are undergoing treatment at Manipal Hospital in Vijayawada.
