The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has made a key announcement for candidates applying for police jobs in the state, extending the application deadline for constable-level posts. While the deadline was originally set to end on September 9 as per schedule, the board has now extended it to 5 pm on September 16 for the convenience of candidates.
As is known, TSLPRB had released a notification on July 29 for the recruitment of a total of 7,437 posts across the state, including Civil Constable (3,697), AR Constable (1,052), Special Protection Force Constable (1,380), Fire Fighter (751), Jail Warder (208), and SAR CPL (24) posts.
So far, 3,38,336 candidates have registered for these posts, of whom 2,88,530 have completed the application process by paying the fee. The board said Aadhaar verification has also been completed for over 95 percent of applicants. It noted that application traffic tends to surge in the final days before the deadline, which could lead to technical glitches, and advised candidates not to wait until the last minute but to apply as soon as possible.
