BRS Working President and former minister KTR launched a scathing attack over the remarks made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy regarding the Globarina Technologies issue. KTR issued a legal notice (defamation notice) to CM Revanth Reddy, alleging that false accusations were made against him without any evidence. Speaking to the media on this matter, KTR leveled sharp criticism.

KTR demanded that CM Revanth Reddy issue an unconditional public apology within 48 hours over the baseless allegations made regarding the Globarina Technologies issue. He clarified, “I have no financial ties or ownership rights whatsoever with Globarina. The claims that it is my benami company and that I got CBSE contracts awarded to it are complete lies.” He said that while holding the highest constitutional office, Revanth Reddy made these remarks purely for political gain to damage his reputation, and warned that if an apology was not issued within the deadline, he would pursue civil and criminal action along with a defamation suit.

KTR challenged the Chief Minister to either prove the allegations made against him or apologize. He announced that he was ready to undergo a lie detector test as well as a CID investigation into the Globarina matter. He then questioned whether CM Revanth Reddy was willing to face a SIT or CID inquiry regarding the corruption allegations against his own family. KTR also demanded to know why the current Congress government itself entered into agreements with Globarina if it was indeed his benami company, asking, “How is it justified for your own government to sign agreements with that company and now allege that it is my benami firm?”

On this occasion, KTR strongly criticized Revanth Reddy’s stance, mocking him by saying that Revanth Reddy stays with the Congress by day and with the BJP by night. He alleged that while sending one bundle to the Congress high command, he sends two bundles to the BJP. He said that the Chief Minister, who should be questioning the central government, is afraid to even once mention Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s name.

He criticized Revanth Reddy for pursuing compromise politics with the Centre purely out of fear of old cases and for the sake of benefits from the Amrit scheme and other contracts. KTR concluded by stating that instead of protesting in front of Raj Bhavan (or Lok Bhavan), holding a dharna in Kodangal was nothing but a political drama.
