The central government’s Vikasit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Aajeevika Mission (Rural) – VB G RAM G Act is set to get a new visual identity. To design an attractive logo for the scheme, the Ministry of Rural Development has announced a nationwide competition. The winner of the best design will receive a cash prize of ₹50,000, encouraging creative youth and designers to participate and contribute to the nation’s development.
Participants are required to submit their entries through the official MyGov portal [https://www.mygov.in/](https://www.mygov.in/). The logo must align with the objectives of Vikasit Bharat, reflecting rural development, employment generation, and livelihood improvement in a creative manner. The last date to submit entries is March 20.
The VB G RAM G Act replaces the earlier Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). Under the new legislation, the guaranteed workdays for rural laborers have been increased from 100 days to 125 days, marking a key policy step to strengthen rural employment and income security.
The mission aims to empower rural economies and improve livelihood opportunities for workers. By expanding employment opportunities and supporting sustainable rural development, the government seeks to bolster economic security in villages and promote inclusive growth across rural India.
