A mass shooting at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday evening has left 16 people dead, triggering widespread panic. According to reports, two gunmen stormed the beach while tourists were enjoying the area, opening fire and causing visitors to flee in fear.
Local authorities identified the attackers as a father-son duo. The father, Sajid Akram, 50, and his son, Naveed Akram, 24, were reportedly linked to Pakistani terrorist networks. Eyewitnesses stated that the two, wearing masks, also fired from a pedestrian bridge near the beach.
