Pak-Based Terror Groups Planning Major Attack on India; Security Agencies on High Alert

Intelligence agencies have raised a high alert after receiving reports that Pakistan-based terror organisations are plotting a significant attack on India. Sources indicate that top commanders from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) held a secret meeting in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, to finalise plans against Indian targets. LeT deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri attended an event in Bahawalpur on Saturday, a known stronghold of JeM chief Masood Azhar, with intelligence suggesting that Kasuri frequently meets Azhar secretly to coordinate operations. Security officials warn that the meeting, which also reportedly involved female jihad supporters, underscores the seriousness of the threat.

The event, titled Seerat-e-Nabi Sahih Bukhari, is believed to have been used to plan anti-India activities. Intelligence sources highlight that such coordination between top leaders of the two major terror groups is a direct warning and a reminder for heightened vigilance. Agencies have been instructed to maintain strict security protocols across sensitive regions in India.

In a concerning development, JeM is actively recruiting women for terrorist activities. Its women’s wing, Jamaat-ul-Mominat, has reportedly inducted over 5,000 women within weeks, with training conducted through 40-minute online sessions for a nominal fee. The recruits, drawn from cities including Bahawalpur, Multan, Sialkot, Karachi, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli, are being prepared for fidayeen-style attacks similar to those carried out by ISIS, Hamas, and LTTE. Officials warn that the strategy of deploying female operatives represents a growing threat to India’s national security.
