Karimnagar: A fresh rape case has been registered against Srinivas, the self-styled ‘Lady Aghori,’ after a young woman from the Kothapalli area of Karimnagar accused him of sexual assault. The woman has alleged that Srinivas forcibly touched her private parts, leading to the police filing charges under multiple sections.
The victim, who claimed to have been introduced to Srinivas under the pretext of spiritual practices related to Sanatan Dharma, accused him of attempting to rape her at a remote location on a hill. She further alleged that Srinivas threatened her, took ₹3 lakh from her, and warned her not to report the incident, or he would harm her. Following her complaint, police have registered a case against Srinivas under sections 64(1), 87 318(4), and 351(2) of the IPC.

This case adds to a growing list of accusations against Srinivas, who is already in remand for other alleged offenses, including cheating. In a separate incident, a woman producer from the Shankerpalli region filed a cheating case against him six months ago. Srinivas, who had initially befriended the producer, reportedly convinced her to transfer ₹5 lakh for religious rituals, later demanding an additional ₹5 lakh, threatening her with the failure of the ritual and damage to her family if she did not comply.
Authorities have confirmed that investigations are underway into both cases, and Srinivas, along with his accomplice, Shri Varshini, is being held on charges of fraud, extortion, and sexual assault.
