Hyderabad: The Telangana government has confirmed that it will host the 72nd edition of the Miss World competition in 2025, with Hyderabad as the venue. The international event, scheduled to take place from May 10 to May 31, 2025, will see over 120 contestants from across the globe competing for the coveted title. The Telangana government is making significant preparations to highlight the state’s cultural heritage, tourism attractions, and modern infrastructure to a global audience.

The complete schedule for Miss World 2025 is as follows:
May 6-7: Contestants from over 120 countries will arrive in Hyderabad.
May 10: The grand opening ceremony of Miss World 2025 will be held at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, with performances of traditional Telangana folk and tribal dances to welcome the contestants.
May 12: Contestants will visit Nagarjunasagar and Buddha Vana.
May 13: A cultural walk will be conducted at Charminar and Laad Bazaar, followed by a dinner at Chowmohalla Palace.
May 14: Contestants will spend time with students and communities at Kalapathar Art Centre in Warangal and will visit the Ramappa Temple.
May 15: A visit to the Yadagirigutta Temple will be followed by a trip to Pochampally to experience the region’s handloom industry.
May 16: Contestants will participate in a medical tour of AIG, Yashoda, and Apollo Hospitals.
May 17: The Miss World sports finals will take place at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. Contestants will also participate in the Telangana Food Festival and visit the Experience Eco-Tourism Park.
May 18-19: A tour of the Telangana Police Integrated Command & Control Center will be followed by visits to Tank Bund, Ambedkar Statue, and the Secretariat.
May 20-21: Group 1 contestants will attend the upcoming APPL event at Uppal, while Group 2 contestants will visit an art workshop at Shilparamam.
May 22-24: The talent showcase, head-to-head challenges, and fashion finale will be held.
May 26: A gala dinner at the British Residency and Taj Falaknuma will feature cultural performances.
May 31: The grand finale of Miss World 2025 will take place at Hitec City, where the winner will be crowned.
June 2: The winners will meet the Governor and Chief Minister of Telangana at Raj Bhavan, marking the state’s Formation Day celebrations.
