YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has received a major setback after his allegations regarding mass cow deaths in the Tirumala Goshala sparked controversy. Reddy had claimed that over 100 cows had died in the Goshala, prompting strong backlash from Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board member Bhanu Prakash Reddy, who filed a police complaint.
Bhanu Prakash Reddy dismissed the claims as baseless and accused Bhumana of spreading misinformation. The matter has intensified the ongoing political tug-of-war between the YSRCP and TDP, with both parties exchanging challenges over the TTD Goshala’s management.

Amid the controversy, Bhumana announced he would visit the Goshala at 10 AM on Thursday. In anticipation, police deployed heavy security near his residence. TTD officials countered the YSRCP leader’s claims, stating there was no truth to the allegations and challenging him to provide evidence.
Meanwhile, the YSRCP called for a ‘Shanti Rally’ to the Goshala in support of their claims. However, Tirupati police denied permission for the rally and instructed Bhumana to visit the site accompanied only by his gunmen, not as part of a procession.
