Goa: Tourists visiting the Pali Waterfall in Sattari taluka faced a sudden and dangerous situation as heavy rains caused the river’s water level to rise dramatically. As a result, 80 people found themselves trapped by the floods.

Rescue teams quickly responded to the scene upon receiving the information. According to officials, “Since Sunday was a holiday, many tourists visited Pali Waterfall. To reach the falls, you must first cross a river. With the heavy rains, the water level rose significantly, trapping 80 people. So far, 50 have been rescued, and efforts are ongoing to save the remaining 30.”
