Former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has responded to the Gudlavalleru Engineering College incident, questioning the installation of hidden cameras in the washroom. He described the allegations as extremely serious and expressed his concern that the incident is a severe disruption to students’ lives. Jagan criticized Chandrababu Naidu, urging him to take action and stop playing games with students’ futures. He accused the government of neglecting the issue, suggesting that nothing substantial has been done because the Chief Minister’s son is the Education Minister.
Jagan also claimed that the education system has been severely damaged within just three months of the coalition government taking office. He accused the opposition party of undermining governance, alleging that the government and its machinery are failing to perform effectively. Despite ongoing issues such as the contamination of food leading to student illness at the Nuzvidu IIIT and government residential schools, Jagan criticized the government’s response as inadequate. He noted that the lack of proper oversight of educational institutions is evident. Jagan made these comments in a post on his ‘X’ account.
