Srikakulam: Police have registered a case against YSRCP leader and MLC Duvvada Srinivas for making controversial remarks against Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. During a TV interview earlier this year, Srinivas alleged that Pawan Kalyan, who claimed he came to question the government ahead of elections, was receiving ₹50 crore per month from Chief Minister Chandrababu and therefore refrained from questioning him.
Following a complaint by Janasena leader Vanjarapu Simhachalam from Hiramandalam, police booked the case and served notices to Srinivas at his residence near Tekkali on Saturday.
