In a significant political development, the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has received a blow with the announcement of Raviraju, the President of the Commercial Wing in East Godavari district. He declared his intention to contest the Graduate MLC elections in the twin Godavari districts as an independent candidate.
Raviraju made it clear that he would be running as an independent, unaffiliated with any political party, and confirmed that he has received support from all political groups. He stated that he had never contested any elections under a party banner. Raviraju also expressed his commitment to supporting graduates during difficult times and urged all graduates to ensure they are registered to vote in the upcoming elections.
