A rare model of corporate-level free medical services has taken shape in Kuchipudi, Krishna district, where the Ravi Prakash Silicon Andhra Sanjivani Hospital is offering comprehensive healthcare without charging patients. At a time when education and healthcare have become increasingly unaffordable, especially for poor and middle-class families, the hospital is providing consultations, diagnostic tests, surgeries and medicines entirely free of cost, protecting families from the financial devastation typically caused by serious illness.
The hospital was established under the leadership of Silicon Andhra founder Anand Kuchibhotla and senior journalist Ravi Prakash. BJP leader Yamini Sharma, who recently visited the premises, posted an appreciation note on X that has gone viral. She described the facility as a “world-class hospital run purely on charity” with “no bills, no conditions, and no discrimination”. She added that the hospital embodies compassion and vision in every detail, from high-end medical equipment to spot-free infrastructure.

Construction of the hospital was made possible through large-scale fundraising, including a 48-hour commercial-free campaign run on TV9 during Ravi Prakash’s tenure as CEO to mobilise contributions exclusively for the Sanjivani Hospital project. The region of Kuchipudi, which previously lacked access to advanced medical facilities and has a high proportion of economically disadvantaged families, was chosen purposefully to ensure that quality healthcare reaches those who need it the most.
In addition to free treatment, the hospital provides meals and accommodation to patients and their attendants. Specialists in orthopaedics, neurology, paediatrics, dentistry and gynaecology are available 24/7, and every ward is equipped with premium beds and modern infrastructure comparable to top private hospitals. Residents from nearly 70 surrounding villages are now accessing advanced healthcare in Kuchipudi itself, eliminating the earlier need to travel to Vijayawada or Machilipatnam for critical medical services
