West Asia Tensions Escalate; Qatar Warns of Crude Oil Surge

Tensions in West Asia are intensifying as the conflict between Iran, the United States, and Israel shows no signs of abating. In response to the worsening situation, the Qatari government issued a warning that if hostilities continue for another two weeks, crude oil prices could reach $150 per barrel. Officials cautioned that a prolonged conflict could trigger a global energy crisis, affecting economies worldwide.

The United States has also raised serious allegations, claiming that Russia is indirectly supporting Iran in the ongoing war. According to Washington, Tehran’s attacks on U.S. naval and air assets have been coordinated using intelligence provided by Russian security agencies.

Russia, however, denied any direct involvement, asserting that U.S. military operations are targeting its allies rather than Russian forces. Moscow described the American claims as “misleading and politically motivated,” further complicating the diplomatic landscape.
