Amaravati: Siddhu, a young innovator from Kottavalasa village in Vizianagaram district, has captured the internet’s attention with a self-made battery-powered bicycle. Citing the long distance to his college, Siddhu designed and built the cycle himself. The vehicle can travel up to 80 kilometers on a single three-hour battery charge.

The video showcasing Siddhu’s innovative creation went viral on social media and eventually reached Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Deeply impressed, Pawan Kalyan invited Siddhu to his Mangalagiri camp office along with the bicycle. After personally meeting him, the Deputy CM not only appreciated Siddhu’s effort but also took a ride on the bicycle with Siddhu seated behind.

Pawan Kalyan made several rounds inside the camp office premises on the cycle and enquired about its features and the young inventor’s process. He also took a keen interest in Siddhu’s other initiative—‘Grocery Guru’, a WhatsApp-based service—and praised the brochure shared by Siddhu. As a token of encouragement, Pawan Kalyan announced a ₹1 lakh reward and lauded Siddhu’s talent, even hugging him in appreciation.
