New Delhi: Former India captain Virat Kohli has become the first player in the history of international cricket to achieve over 900 ICC rating points in all three formats — Tests, ODIs, and T20Is. Despite retiring from T20Is and recently stepping away from Test cricket, Kohli continues to break records. In the latest update to the ICC’s all-time T20I rankings, Kohli’s rating rose from 897 to 909, marking a historic milestone.

Kohli had earlier reached a peak of 937 rating points in Tests and 911 in ODIs, both in 2018. With his latest T20I rating, he stands alone as the only cricketer to surpass the 900-point mark in all formats. Kohli retired from T20Is after India’s title win in the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup. He scored 4,188 runs in 125 T20Is at an average of 48.69, including one century and 25 half-centuries, with a highest score of 122\*. In Tests, he finished with 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85, with 30 centuries and 31 fifties, placing him fourth among India’s top Test run-scorers and 19th globally.
