Venkaiah Chowdary appointed as new JEO of TTD

Chirumamilla Venkaiah Chowdary has been appointed as as the new Joint Executive Officer (JEO) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Chowdary, a 2005 batch IRS officer, will join on deputation to Andhra Pradesh (AP) for a three-year term, following the Centre’s approval of the state government’s request. Previously, he served as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of AP Mineral Development Corporation Limited.

A.K. Ravikrishna, a 2006 batch IPS officer currently serving as Deputy Director in the Central Intelligence Bureau, has also been deputed to AP. Ravikrishna, formerly the Superintendent of Police in Kurnool district, will undertake his new role in the state.

Additionally, the Centre has approved the deputation of AV Rajamouli, an IAS officer from the UP cadre, to AP. Rajamouli, presently serving as the Home Secretary of UP and having worked in the AP Chief Minister’s Office from 2014 to 2019, will now serve in Andhra Pradesh following the state government’s request.
