OYO is set to introduce a major shake-up for couples looking to book rooms. The company has announced a new check-in policy that will restrict unmarried couples from booking rooms, with the policy set to be implemented first in Meerut.
New Check-in Policy Details
As per the new policy, guests booking rooms either online or offline will be required to present proof of marriage. This rule will be immediately enforced at hotels in Meerut. Based on feedback, OYO management has indicated that the policy may be extended to other cities as well.
