Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s mother, Shakunthala (83), suffered a heart attack on Friday, triggering concern among family members and BJP leaders. The incident occurred at her residence in Karimnagar after she reportedly complained of sudden chest pain.
Family members immediately shifted her to a local hospital in Karimnagar, where doctors provided primary treatment. Considering her condition, she was later moved to Hyderabad for advanced medical care and admitted to Medicover Hospitals in Gachibowli.
After conducting medical examinations, doctors identified blockages in her heart arteries. The medical team acted swiftly and performed a stent procedure successfully as part of the emergency treatment. Hospital sources stated that her health condition is currently stable and she is under close observation.
Soon after receiving information about his mother’s illness, Bandi Sanjay Kumar rushed to the hospital and met her in the ICU. He later interacted with doctors to understand the treatment process and her expected recovery timeline.
The news of Shakunthala’s heart attack led to concern among BJP leaders, party workers and supporters across Telangana. Several leaders and well-wishers expressed hope that she would recover quickly and regain good health soon.
