In a shocking incident, the chief priest of Chilukuru Balaji Temple, Sri Rangarajan, was attacked by unidentified individuals near his residence in the Rangareddy district of Moinabad. The assailants also injured his son during the attack. Following the incident, MV Soundar Rajan, Chairman of the Chilukuru Balaji Temple Managing Committee, filed a formal complaint with the police, urging them to take action against the perpetrators.
The attackers, who reportedly demanded support for the establishment of “Ramarajya” and the handover of temple responsibilities, grew violent when Rangarajan rejected their proposal. In his complaint, Rangarajan stated that the assailants, led by Veera Raghava Reddy, entered his residence with 20 followers and physically assaulted him and his son.

The police have confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway. Veera Raghava Reddy has been arrested, and efforts are being made to apprehend the remaining suspects involved in the attack.
The incident occurred three days ago, and police are currently intensifying their investigation. MV Soundar Rajan, who has been actively involved in Hindu religious affairs, has expressed his support for the actions taken by the authorities in addressing the matter.
