Kyiv/Moscow: Ukraine carried out a large-scale aerial assault on Russian territory on Sunday, targeting key military air bases and inflicting what is being described as the most significant attack on Russian aviation assets since the war began.
According to reports, Ukrainian forces launched drone and missile strikes on the Olenya and Belaya airbases, resulting in the reported destruction of more than 40 Russian aircraft, including strategic bombers such as the Tu-95 and Tu-22M3.
The coordinated offensive marks a sharp escalation in the conflict, with Ukrainian forces demonstrating increased reach and capability in striking high-value targets deep inside Russian territory. The Russian government has yet to officially confirm the scale of the reported damage.
This is how Ukrainian creativity works 😉
