A tragic road accident occurred in the village of Holebedu, Alur Mandal, Kurnool District, on Sunday evening at approximately 8 PM. The incident involved a Xylo car, which was traveling along the highway.
The accident resulted in the immediate death of two out of the eight passengers in the vehicle. Additionally, three individuals sustained severe injuries, and two children suffered minor injuries. The deceased, including one woman, were identified as residents of Adoni by local authorities.
The bodies were found scattered at the accident site, causing considerable distress among local residents. The injured have been transported to Adoni Government Hospital for medical treatment.
The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident, considering whether it was due to high speed or a collision with another vehicle. A formal case has been filed, and an inquiry is ongoing.
