The Agrigold scam case has taken a new turn with significant developments involving Polavaram Murali Mohan. Murali Mohan, an accused in the case, has made critical statements during his interrogation by the Crime Investigation Department (CID), asserting that he did not sell land to the family of former minister Jogi Ramesh.
Murali Mohan’s claims center around discrepancies in land registration. He stated that although he owns land in Survey Number 88, the initial registration was made under a different number, Survey Number 87. Murali Mohan has claimed that the documents associated with the land, including the Aadhaar card used during registration, are not in his name.
The CID is preparing to file a forgery case against Jogi Ramesh’s family in light of these new revelations. Recent developments include the arrest of Jogi Rajeev, the son of Jogi Ramesh, by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in connection with the Agrigold land transactions. Searches conducted at Jogi Ramesh’s residence in Ibrahimpatnam revealed irregularities involving Agrigold land deals in Ambapuram, which are now under CID investigation.
The First Information Report (FIR) names several individuals, including Jogi Ramesh (A1), his son Jogi Rajeev (A2), Adusumilli Mohan Ramdas (A3), Adusumilli Venkata Seetha Mahalakshmi (A4), Village Secretariat Surveyor Dedipya (A5), Mandal Surveyor Ramesh (A6), Deputy Tahsildar Vijay Kumar (A7), and Mandal Tahsildar (A8).
