US President Donald Trump has once again launched a sharp attack on Iran, asserting in his trademark style that the United States has already achieved a military victory over Tehran, even as US–Iran peace talks are currently underway in Islamabad, Pakistan, where delegations led by US Vice President J.D. Vance are engaged in discussions with Iranian representatives amid ongoing diplomatic efforts.
Trump claimed that Iran’s military capabilities have been completely neutralized, stating that the country now has no navy, no radar systems, and no functioning air force, while also alleging that Iran’s long-standing leadership structure has been dismantled, adding that the United States is no longer concerned about developments in Iran and is closely monitoring the evolving situation.
He also issued a strong warning to China over reports of potential arms supplies to Iran, stating that if Beijing proceeds with such actions it would face serious consequences, while reiterating that the United States remains strategically dominant and has already secured victory in the conflict.
Further commenting on the ongoing negotiations in Islamabad, Trump said that talks have been continuing for hours under Pakistan’s mediation following weeks of conflict, asserting that “we have already won the war” and noting that US oil tankers are freely operating across international waters, while emphasizing that the outcome of the discussions would not affect the United States whether an agreement is reached or not.
