A tragic incident occurred in Khammam district of Telangana, where three young men went missing after falling into the NSP canal at Danavaigudem. The police have identified the missing individuals as Challa Ramesh, Prasad, and Bandaru Bharat, all hailing from Manuguru in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Sadly, Bharat (30) was found dead, while a search is ongoing for the other two.
Family members revealed that the trio, along with another friend Venkateshwarulu, traveled from Manuguru to Khammam on Monday in an auto-rickshaw to visit their friend Challa Rama, who is currently in Khammam district jail on drug trafficking charges. After meeting their friend, the group reportedly consumed alcohol until late into the night. They then parked their auto near the canal embankment of the Nagarjuna Sagar Project at Danavaigudem and spent the night there. When Venkateshwarulu woke up on Tuesday morning and found his friends missing, he alerted the police, who immediately launched a search operation.
