Hyderabad: In a key development in the Telangana phone tapping case, Panjagutta police have arrested three individuals. The case was registered based on a complaint by G. Chakradhar Goud from Siddipet, naming former minister Harish Rao, former Task Force DCP Radha Kishan Rao, and others.
Arrests and Investigation
The accused, identified as Thodupunoori Santosh Kumar, Bandi Parashuramulu, and Teljeer Vamsi Krishna, were arrested on Saturday and remanded until February 28. They have been transferred to Chanchalguda Jail. Vamsi Krishna, a native of Siddipet, previously worked as Aarogyasri Manager in Nalgonda district but was dismissed over alleged irregularities. In 2023, he joined Harish Rao’s camp office and served for nearly six months.
DCP Vijay Kumar stated that Santosh Kumar and Parashuramulu assisted Vamsi Krishna in phone tapping activities.

Allegations and Case Details
According to the complaint, a *war room* was allegedly set up in Siddipet under DSP Praneeth Rao’s supervision, where calls of Chakradhar Goud, his wife, family members, and driver were tapped. Goud further alleged that he was subjected to harassment and false cases during the previous administration.
Former minister Harish Rao has been named as Accused No. 1 (A1) in the case, while former Task Force DCP Radha Kishan Rao is listed as Accused No. 2 (A2). Investigations are ongoing.
