Steps are underway to strengthen HYDRA’s efforts in demolishing illegal constructions in Hyderabad. To support these actions, additional police resources are being allocated to ensure smooth operations. The Telangana government has issued specific directives for this reinforcement.
Under the new orders, 15 inspectors and three reserve inspectors, along with six additional SIs, have been assigned to HYDRA. DG (Law and Order) Mahesh Bhagwat has overseen this allocation, with personnel from other districts being transferred to assist HYDRA. Inspectors are now directed to work exclusively with HYDRA. There is also a possibility that HYDRA may receive its own police stations in the future.
