Hanamkonda: Telangana PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud has made sensational allegations against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), claiming the party will cease to exist by the time the next elections take place. Speaking at a press meet in Hanamkonda, he criticized the BRS government for failing to fulfill the aspirations of Telangana’s people and accused it of plundering the state over the past decade.
“The BRS government has not delivered on Telangana’s development. In ten years, there has been no progress, only exploitation. Our Congress government has provided better governance compared to the previous administration. Even on job creation, the Congress party has outperformed BRS within a year,” Goud remarked.
Criticism of BRS’s Governance
Goud also lashed out at BRS workers for spreading misleading posts on social media and accused the party of failing as an opposition in Telangana. “KTR’s frustration is evident in his statements, reflecting their inability to handle the loss of power. Currently, the nation is looking towards Telangana as a model state. The schemes we have implemented in Telangana are being sought in other states as well. Caste census will position Telangana as a role model for the country,” he added.
Plans for Congress Victory Celebrations
Highlighting the achievements of the Congress government within a year, Goud announced a series of celebratory programs from November 14 to December 9. As part of these events, the “Praja Vijayotsava Sabha” will be held in Warangal, renamed as the “Indira Mahila Shakti Sabha.”
On the same day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stones for Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavans across 22 districts, signaling the Congress government’s focus on welfare and development.
