Authorities have raised security concerns after a suspected assassination plot targeting U.S. President Donald Trump was detected at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida. Security personnel promptly escorted Trump into Air Force One using a smaller rear staircase instead of the usual main steps to minimize exposure.
U.S. Secret Service officials identified a suspicious sniper’s nest near the area where Air Force One was parked. FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the elevated wooden platform, constructed with a ladder, was located approximately 200 yards from the aircraft’s landing zone and had a clear line of sight toward the boarding area.

No explosives or suspects were found at the site. However, given two prior assassination attempts on Trump, authorities responded immediately. Air Force One was relocated within the airport, and Trump was escorted via a less conspicuous rear entry to ensure his safety.
The FBI has launched a full investigation to determine the identity of those who constructed the sniper nest and the motive behind it. Forensic teams are collecting evidence, and officials have emphasized that the incident underscores ongoing concerns regarding the former President’s security.
