Sundeep Kishan’s Mazaka trailer has sparked controversy just days before its release. The issue arose after the trailer, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, featured the title “People’s Star” for Sundeep Kishan. Social media users questioned the use of this tag, long associated with veteran filmmaker-actor R. Narayana Murthy.
Addressing the controversy in a recent interview, Sundeep Kishan clarified, “I was unaware that R. Narayana Murthy had this title. I do not focus on such tags. It was only after the film’s team gave me this title that I realized he had been using it. We are considering the best course of action to avoid any misunderstandings.”
Mazaka is set to release on February 26. The trailer, released today, showcases entertaining exchanges between Sundeep Kishan and Rao Ramesh, who play a father and son. The film also stars Anshu, Murali Sharma, Srinivas Reddy, Hyper Aadi, Raghu Babu, Ajay, and Chammak Chandra in key roles. Produced by Rajesh Danda under the Hasya Movies banner, Mazaka promises to be a complete entertainer.
