A stampede occurred during Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Krishna district, resulting in a young girl losing consciousness. She was immediately rushed to a hospital, where her condition is reported to be stable. The incident took place at Godavarru as a massive crowd gathered to welcome Pawan Kalyan during his ongoing district tour.
Inspection of CC Roads in Penamaluru
As part of his visit, Pawan Kalyan inspected the construction and quality standards of CC roads in the Goshala area of the Penamaluru constituency.

Focus on Water Supply in Gudivada
Pawan Kalyan also visited Mallayapalem village in the Gudivada constituency to review the rural protected drinking water supply scheme. During the “Palle Panduga” program, MLA Venigandla Ramu highlighted the issue of poor water quality in rural areas. Acting swiftly, Pawan Kalyan allocated Rs 3.8 crore for repairs and directed the Panchayat to replace damaged filter beds, incurring an additional cost of Rs 4 lakh.
Completion of Water Supply Repairs
Repairs, including the replacement of filter beds in 14 villages under the scheme, have been completed. On Monday, Pawan Kalyan conducted a field inspection of the Mallayapalem protected water supply center, evaluating storage tanks, filter beds, and water quality samples collected before and after the repairs.
