The South Central Railway has issued crucial guidelines for devotees traveling to Sabarimala, urging them to refrain from performing rituals onboard trains. The advisory specifically mentions that activities such as lighting camphor, performing aarti, burning incense sticks, or using sambrani in train coaches are prohibited.
Officials emphasized that such practices could pose a severe risk to passenger safety. Additionally, they warned that engaging in such actions could result in penalties under the Railways Act of 1989, Sections 67, 154, 164, and 165. Violators may face up to three years of imprisonment, along with fines.

To facilitate devotees, the South Central Railway is operating special trains from key stations, including Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Kakinada, Kacheguda, Tirupati, and Nanded. The department has appealed to all passengers to follow the rules to ensure a safe and smooth journey back to their destinations.
