Shocking revelations have emerged in the case of the Muthyalamma temple idol desecration in Kummuriguda. Contrary to initial suspicions that the attack on the deity may have been an impulsive or unconscious act, police investigations have revealed that it was a well-planned incident. The primary accused, Saleem Salman, who kicked the idol, was immediately taken into custody after the incident. However, it has now come to light that Salman was not acting alone—he was reportedly incited by a man named Munawar Jama.

Before the attack, Salman had attended a religious hate seminar organized by Munawar, where he was allegedly instigated to desecrate the temple idol. This revelation has raised questions about who Munawar Jama is and why he provoked Salman into committing the act.

Munawar Jama, a motivational speaker and personality development trainer based in Mumbai, is now the prime accused in this case. Despite his outward identity as a speaker, he is reportedly known for delivering speeches inciting religious hatred. His primary motive appears to be stirring communal tensions, a pattern he has allegedly followed in cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, as well as in countries like Singapore and Malaysia. Most recently, Munawar organized a month-long seminar in Hyderabad, from October 1 to 31, hosted at the Metro Police Hotel. Salman, along with 150 other participants from various states, including Maharashtra, attended the seminar. Special arrangements were made for the attendees, with 49 rooms booked at the hotel. Notably, the seminar was held without any proper permissions.

Following the desecration incident, police registered cases against Munawar, hotel owner Abdul Rasheed, and manager Rehman. The Metro Police Hotel has been sealed as part of the investigation.

Authorities have confirmed that Munawar delivered inflammatory speeches during the seminar at the hotel, where he allegedly encouraged Salman to carry out the attack on the Muthyalamma temple. Salman proceeded to commit the act on the night of October 14. Local residents apprehended Salman after the attack, handing him over to the police, leading to the unraveling of the full story during interrogation.

The police have now intensified their investigation into Munawar’s hate speeches and are collecting detailed records of his statements from October 1 onward. They are also scrutinizing his previous seminars to determine the extent of his involvement in inciting religious violence.
