Dhaka: The assassination of Sharif Osman Hadi has dramatically altered the political climate in Bangladesh. Hadi’s brother recently alleged that the Yunus-led interim government was behind the killing, intensifying public outrage and protests against the authorities. In response, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina took to social media, condemning the interim administration for plunging the nation into darkness.
Hasina criticized those conspiring to destroy the country, saying their identities are now exposed, and accused illegal looters of holding citizens hostage. She alleged that the Yunus government has driven Bangladesh into chaos for personal gain and corruption, pointing out that foreign investor insecurity and ongoing unrest have severely impacted the national economy.
