A tragic school bus accident occurred on Sunday on the Aklakua-Molgi road in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, leaving one student dead and around 20 to 30 others seriously injured. The incident took place at Devgoy Ghats, where the bus fell into a 100–150 feet deep valley, sustaining severe damage. Authorities reported that the deceased student was crushed under the bus.
The bus, carrying students from Molgi village to Aklakua, reportedly lost control near the Amlibari area before plunging into the valley. Rescue teams quickly evacuated the injured and shifted them to Aklakua rural hospital for treatment. The students were on a school tour when the accident occurred.
